The Role
We're looking for a clinical expert to shape our clinical AI in-house. You'll be the subject matter expert and lead product direction for clinical AI across everything we build clinically. This isn't a role where you answer questions when someone asks. You take initiative, decide what the product should do, what correct looks like, and where we're getting it wrong.
Responsibilities
- Define what our clinical AI should do: which questions it answers, what a correct answer looks like, and where the clinical rules come from
- Lead product direction for clinical AI: set priorities, define requirements, and work alongside the team building it
- Be the clinical subject matter expert across the company, for every team and in customer conversations where clinical credibility matters
- Evaluate and approve AI performance for clinical accuracy before anything reaches a customer, and keep doing it after release
Requirements
- Active NJ RN license (or eligible)
- Direct-care nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility
- MDS Coordinator experience: completing assessments, applying the RAI manual, and understanding how documentation drives PDPM and quality measures
- Hands-on with PointClickCare or another SNF EMR
- Able to explain clinical reasoning clearly to people who aren't clinicians
- Comfortable defining something new rather than following a protocol
- Able to work in our Lakewood office
Preferred skills
- Interest in technology, data, or AI. No coding required
- Regional or corporate experience: Regional MDS, Regional DON, or clinical reimbursement
- RAC-CT or similar MDS certification
- Survey readiness, quality measures, or clinical compliance experience
